After the workday with GARTRA, my good friend Dave Logan took the time Sunday evening to come up from Atlanta to Dahlonega to meet with me. Can't tell you how much I valued that time. He even bought me dinner. The discussion for the evening can be summed up as creative brainstorming on improving what BRC is doing as an organization.
Dave is one of those guys that I really appreciate. He is highly involved, member of about everything (lifetime at BRC), enjoys the outdoors in about any way you can think of including four wheeling, kayaking, hiking, and what have you. Dave even has a four wheel drive school that has taken him to places around the world to help instruct people on the right and wrong ways of off road driving.
Working in the recreation industry gives him a solid perspective and he understands what we are up against as outdoor enthusiasts. More importantly, he is my friend and I really appreciated getting together with him. Whenever I need a grounding, level headed answer, I know I can turn to him and he gives me the straight up.
The brainstorming with Dave prompts me to continue the discussion by asking you the question of what you think BRC can do to grow membership and involvement in BlueRibbon Coalition? Share it with me at http://www.wearebrc.org/comments... Seriously, cracking this nut is one of the hardest things I face as the Executive Director and I want your input.
BTW, thanks for dinner Dave!

Dave, thanks for taking the time to talk to Greg and pass on your thoughts.
You are well respected across the industry, and I am sure you and Greg had a good conversation that we on the BOD will hear about at a later time.
